Message From Gordon Henderson MP
Welcome to my Link 2 Business website, which I set up to establish closer contacts with the business community in my constituency. Becoming a Link 2 Business member costs nothing and provides local business people with direct access to me and my staff, who are able to provide help and advice about government policy.
In 2012 we organised for Link 2 Business members a cream tea at the House of Commons. The feedback we received was very positive so this coming year we hope to have a couple of similar events, one in Parliament and the other in the constituency.
Members are able also to attend my monthly breakfast meetings at which they can chat informally with me about matters of concern. In addition, I maintain contact with local businesses in two other ways; firstly by holding quarterly question and answer sessions at the Kent Science Park, to which everybody is welcome, whether or not they are members of Link 2 Buisness.
Secondly; I undertake regular visits to companies in Sittingbourne and Sheppey, to learn more about them, and help them to publicise and promote their business. Once again you do not have to be a member of Link 2 Business to arrange such a visit, simply contact my office on 01795 423199 and they will make the necessary arrangements.
